Itinerary:

After breakfast from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, have your safari briefing and later depart for Udzungwa National Park at around 0730hrs. Enjoy a short walk in the park upon arrival if time permitting. Overnight at Udzungwa National park Campsite on full board basis.

Udzungwa national park opened to the public in 1992 and its one of the most beautiful wilderness parks in Tanzania. Covering an area of 1900sq km, the uniqueness of this park lays in it biodiversity in hosting a variety of flora and fauna species not found anywhere else in the world. The Red Colobous Monkey and the Sane Crested Manbrey, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and sable antelopes are some of the resident animal sin this park. A wide range of bird species are also found in the park and includes; Rufus winged sunbird, Iringa Akalat, Lagden’s bush shrike& Udzungwa partridge.

Depart in the morning after breakfast for Ruaha national Park. Afternoon game drive starts as you enter the parkas your guide drives along the Great Ruaha River. Overnight at Campsite on full board basis.

Accompanied by an armed ranger, we start our day with a walking safari. The safari brings you close to animals, insects and the African bush. In the old days, the traditional medicine men collected their medicines from some of plants growing in the park, some of which will be pointed out to you by your guide. Return to the campsite for your breakfast and later enjoy your game drive. Overnight at Campsite on full board basis.

Ruaha National Park, is Tanzania’s biggest park and a host to a number of animals which are rare or absent in the Northern Tanzania which include the African Wild dogs, Roan Antelope, Sable Antelope, and the greater Kudu. The great Ruaha River which provides life in the park flows on the Eastern side of the park and is a home to crocodiles, hippos and a variety of water birds.

Mikumi National Park is flanked between the Uluguru& Udzungwa Mountains. Mikumi National Park is home to Buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, Lions Zebras, leopards and a variety of antelope species. The park is also famous for wild dogs and 6 meters long pythons.

This will be a long drive of about 9 hours through some of the most scenic part of southern Tanzania. Villages and Uluguru Mountains form part of the scenery. You will make a short picnic-lunch break on the way and later arriving at your campsite in the late afternoon. Your late afternoon game drive begins as you cross from the western to the eastern gate. Overnight at Campsite on full board basis.

Morning walking safari followed by a game drive with your picnic lunch under the shady trees. You will also get to enjoy a relaxing visit to the hot springs and later return to your campsite for dinner& overnight. Full board basis.

Selous Game Reserve covers 50000sq km and is the largest game reserve in Africa. The reserve supports enormous number of elephants, buffaloes& Wildebeests. The reserves also hosts the rare wild dogs & black rhinos.

After breakfast depart for Dar es Salaam with a picnic lunch en-route. Drop off at your hotel or airport for your flight back home.
